Jordan Honeycutt & Associates was created out of a desire for making a larger impact in the marketplace. Their success is due largely in part, to their ability to spot food trends with a sharp eye for merchandising that dramatically impacts sales and the knowledge of the inner workings of the food business that will discover areas to trim costs.

 Patricia Jordan

Patricia was raised in the retail business where she worked and learned all aspects of her parents’ 3 grocery stores. This led to her first deli at the age of 20. Her successes lead to 2 additional locations in San Francisco. These Café/Delis, known as “Out To Lunch”, were highly profitable for 8 years. After moving to Michigan in 1987, she designed and project managed the opening of “Meadowlark Foods”, an upscale Café and Specialty Food Retail store. In autumn of 1988, Patricia was hired by Marshall Fields/Dayton Hudson Corporation as Manager and Merchandiser of Market Place Foods. Her success with Marshall Field quickly offered her the Regional Manager position of the Chicago area. Patricia declined as she had left her heart in San Francisco where she returned to pursue her own Catering and Consulting business. She spent the next 6 years working in the Restaurant and Retail Industry focusing on Operations and Product Development.

In 1996, Patricia joined Andronico’s Markets, an independent retailer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Making the same successful strides in this corporate environment, she was promoted from the Wine and Gourmet Buyer to the Director of Deli and Bakery Operations. In this position she was able to raise the Deli and Bakery to a level that realized many accomplishments including national awards and accolades. During the 4 years at Andronico’s Patricia worked as a team with John Honeycutt, Assistant Director of Deli and Bakery, and delivered extremely impressive profit gains and sales increases. This team worked side by side with Bill Andronico on the design and start-ups of 2 new stores - the Danville and Central Market Andronico’s locations, both of which were awarded Supermarket Business’s “Retailer Of The Year”.

 John Honeycutt

John also grew up in a family grocery and deli business. As early as 9 years old, John was stocking shelves, counting bottles and managing the resort boat docks while learning the family resort business. Later, managing the family's European style deli while getting his high school and college education. He joined the management team at Andronico’s Market in 1991where he lead intensive inventory management, scheduling and financial training classes for the company as the Assistant Director of Deli and Bakery Operations. Following the entrepreneurial spirit of his father, Clifford Honeycutt, John left Andronico's to join with one of the most important figures in the retail and grocery industry - Patricia Jordan. With a keen understanding of deli operations, John has been paving roads between store level operations, corporate accounting, POS and information systems departments.

Patricia has a visionary approach and deep understanding of the food service industry - a keen eye for merchandising, food trends and a “let’s-get-it-done” attitude. John understands the connection between the company vision and life at the operations level, which makes his trainings relevant to department managers.
